CLOGSAG puts up GH¢12m hotel
The Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG) would soon become a shining example of modern unions in the West African sub-region, whose investments would contribute to socio-economic and sustainable national development.
Alhaji MahmaduAssibi Azonko, President of the Association, made this known when he was inaugurating an ultra-modern hospitality centre, which has among other facilities 61 bedrooms with 600 seating capacity auditorium named Pempamsie Hotel in Cape Coast.
It was constructed at the cost of GH¢12 million.
Alhaji Azonko described the hotel as a landmark achievement and the beginning of great things to be done by CLOGSAG.
Mrs Patricia Dovi Sampson, Executive Member of the Association said in order to facilitate effective communications, e-mail accounts have been created for the regional and district secretaries of the Association to enhance interaction with members.
Touching on the CLOGSAG Fund, she said the goal is to provide quick supplementary pension in the form of lump sums to beneficiaries as first and second tier pension benefits.
