MTN Ghana introduces mobile money ATMs

MTN Ghana, has launched another innovative service dubbed: “ATM Cash Out” which offers Mobile Money subscribers the convenience and ease of withdrawing money instantly from ATMs (Automatic Teller Machines) anytime and anywhere without a card.

A statement issued in Accra on Wednesday by Mr Eli Hini, Senior Manager of MTN Mobile Money, said the service was currently available at all Fidelity Bank (GH) ATM’s across the country.

It said the service would be rolled out across all partner banks ATMs nationwide adding that “MTN is committed to providing services that enable customers improve their lives through the use of digital devices and touch points available in the country.”

The statement expressed the hope that the introduction of this innovative service to the Ghanaian market would enrich the user experience of customers.

He said the service was being launched as part of the annual Mobile Money Month celebrations which is on the theme: “MTN Mobile Money: its fast, it’s easy, every time everywhere.”

Mr Ebenezer Asante, Sales and Distribution Executive of MTN Ghana, said as part of the Mobile Money Month celebrations, MTN would run exciting promotions to reward existing and new customers.
