SA Travel Centre gets Ghana partners

elephantsMrs Bulelwa Koyana, Chief Executive Officer of South African Travel Centre (SATC) on Thursday indicated that Ghana’s political stability is trusted by investors to do business.

She therefore encouraged investors from Africa and all over the world to come and invest in Ghana to promote socio-economic growth and reduce youth unemployment.

Mrs Koyana was speaking at the launch of SATC partnership with Travel Bureau Limited (TBL), an Accra based Travel and Tour Agency in Accra.

She said the partnership is to ensure that travellers and customers access TBL in Africa and other parts of the world.

Mrs Koyana noted that SATC has negotiated powers over airlines, hotels, insurance companies and other travel agencies.

She said SATC strategically consider the political, economical, social and technological advantage of businesses in Ghana.

This has informed SATC to partner the Ghanaian Agency to promote bilateral trade.

Mrs Koyana said SATC is a subsidiary of South African Airways, which is also a shareholder of the Agency.

She urged Ghanaians to support TBL to deliver services on time.

Mrs Eunice Adu, Chief Executive Officer of TBL said travel agencies in South Africa are ahead of agencies in Ghana and this would help the company to serve its customers and travellers better and safer.

She said TBL is committed to provide quality service at a fair and competitive price while continuing to enhance customer service experience.

Mrs Adu said TBL was looking for an opportunity to collaborate with true African companies and SATC has made the dream true.

Mrs Jeanette Ndhlovn, South African High Commissioner said SATC chose Ghana as the first point of entry into the West African Sub-Region and  this has shown how politically stable Ghana is.

She said SATC is driven by excellence and had chosen to partner with an agency such as TBL.

Mrs Ndhlovn said South African and Ghana have high rate of youth unemployment, adding, “I have no doubt that this partnership will reduce youth unemployment in both countries and will grow further to provide more employment.”

Travel Bureau was established in 2005 and is the leading travel, tour and destination management company in the country with more than 10 years of experience in the industry.
