Mahama names new SADA CEO
President John Dramani Mahama has on the advice of the Board of Directors of the Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA), appointed Dr Charles Jebuni, as acting Chief Executive (CEO) pending the selection of a substantive head.
Prior to Dr Jebuni’s appointment, he was the Authority’s Chief Technical Advisor, and part of the team that prepared and established SADA.
A statement issued by the Flagstaff House Communications Bureau of the Office of the President on Sunday, said Dr Jebuni replaces Mr Gilbert Seidu Iddi whose appointment has expired.
The statement said the appointment is part of the President’s plans to restructure SADA and re-focus management on the core mandate of the Authority.
It said President Mahama has accordingly directed the Board to facilitate the recruitment of a new CEO and technical advisors.
“The accelerated development of the Northern Savannah zone remains a core priority for President Mahama who has tasked the Board to fast track the search for a new head and quicken the pace of the restructuring of the organisation,” the statement stressed.
