Ada Rural Bank lauded for good performance

Mr David Narh Sabbah, Board Chairman of Ada Rural Bank, lauded the sterling performance of the financial entity at the 28th annual general meeting of the Board at Big Ada over the weekend.

Among the 136 rural and community banks under ARB Apex Bank in the area, Ada Rural Bank was ranked 39 in June 2013, and managed to declare GH¢274,237 as profit after tax, representing 625.59 per cent as compared to GH¢37,795 it netted in 2011.

The Board Chairman said the bank now has about 1,400 shareholders and making technological advances so that customers could access banking products and services on their mobile phones.

Mr Ken Owusu Twumasi Appiah, Head of Human Resource Development and Planning of ARB Apex Bank, also praised the bank and urged the staff to take risk management very seriously in order to prevent fraud.
