Most people unaware about Eclipse of the Sun

The rare occurrence of eclipse of the sun, likely to occur on Sunday, November 3, is yet catch the attention of most people within the Sekondi/Takoradi metropolis.

Even the sun shades to view this all important and exclusive phenomenon are nowhere to be found in the metropolis unlike four years ago where one could count them in numbers on the streets.

A study by Ghana News Agency revealed that most people are not aware of the phenomenon, which according to experts would be around 1330 hours on Sunday.

Information gathered had it that the sun shades to aid one to view the eclipse is being sold at SKYY Media for GH¢4.00

Madam Fausty a trader said she only heard a friend talked about the eclipse but did not pay attention to the details.

Ms Ann Mensah, said she knows that there would be darkness on Sunday but did not know when and how.
