Ghana 2009 Light Crop Cocoa Season opens
The Ghana CCOCBOD has announced the commencement of the 2009 Light Crop Cocoa Season Friday July 3, 2009.
The announcement was made in a press release Thursday July 2, 2009 and copied to ghanabusinessnews.com.
According to the release, the producer price that will be paid at all buying centres is GH¢48.96 per load of 30kg for Grades one and two beans “naked ex-scale” or GH¢102.00 per bag of 64kg gross.
GH¢1,632.00 will be paid for a tonne of 16 bags it added.
