Ben Koufie is dead
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced the death of Ben Koufi, a former president of the GFA. He was 84 years old.
“The GFA regrets to announce the death of our former president, National team coach and ex player Mr Ben Koufie,” the Association announced on its twitter handle Monday July 4, 2016.

The Late Mr. Koufi was a player, coached the national team, the Ghana Black Stars and served as GFA president from 2001 to 2003.
He also served in technical capacities for the football associations of Zimbabwe from 1981 to 1982, and Botswana from 1992 to 2001
