President Mahama deserves a second term – DCE
Mr Francis Duodu Addo, District Chief Executive (DCE) for Agona East, has called on Ghanaians to vote massively for President John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming November 7 polls.
He said the President has begun useful and yet uncompleted policies and programmes to improve the lot of Ghanaians.
Mr Addo made this known when he addressed supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at a football Gala Competition at Mankrong –Junction.
Mankrong-Junction Savior Boys beat Agona Oketsew football team 2 goals to nil to win the Gala competition and the team received a set of jersey and football.
The football gala was organized by Agona East NDC Youth Wing and sponsored by Alhaji Ibrahim Jabiru, Agona East Constituency Chairman of NDC.
He said President Mahama should be given second term because the economy has been reshaped and plans are underway to fix the energy crisis currently confronting the country.
The DCE said as result of good economic management by the President, Bawjiase Cassava factory has been revived whiles Komenda sugar has also been built to create jobs and wealth for Ghanaians.
He said the government under President Mahama has built schools, hospitals, clinics, construction of roads and many others to promote quality living standards of the ordinary Ghanaian.
Alhaji Jabiru, Agona East Constituency Chairman, said members are working hard to help President Mahama to win the elections.
He said the football gala was aimed at uniting party members as we approach the November polls.
Mr Michael Dery, President of the Young Cadres Association, called on the youth to rally behind President Mahama to win November polls.
Mr John Kwame Kuma, Agona East Youth Organizer, said the football gala was to bring supporters together as one people adding that the gala would be organized in all 11 zones of the constituency.
