Togolese import Aguidi snatches winner for Hearts
Togolese import Foovi Aguidi, fetched Accra Hearts of Oak three vital points in their 28th week league game against Ebusua Dwarfs at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Aguidi, converted a direct free-kick awarded the team in the 63rd minute, which eventually became the match winner.
This was after keeper Kofi Mensah came out of the vital box to handle the ball, which granted Hearts the free kick.
Hearts playing under Yaw Preko hanged on to the lead till the close of the even though Dwarfs made intense efforts to equalized but Samuel Akurugu managed to save the situation for Hearts.
The match was without drama as supporters of Hearts after the match demonstrated against Acting Managing Director Vincent Odotei-Sowah and Alhaji Braimah Akambi and called for their dismissal by the Board of Directors.
Hearts now occupy the third position with 45 points, three behind Wa All Stars and Aduana Stars.
