Mahama attends Barrow’s inauguration
The former President John Dramani Mahama on Saturday joined the people of The Gambia to inaugurate their new leader, President Adama Barrow, weeks after he was sworn into office in The Gambian Embassy in Dakar, Senegal.
A statement signed by Mrs Joyce Mogtari Bawa, Aide of former President Mahama and copied to the Ghana News Agency said the ex Head of State is one of the former African leaders that would grace the occasion.
Barrow’s inauguration coincided with the 52nd Independence Anniversary of the West African Country.
Former President Mahama was an ECOWAS Co-Mediator in the efforts towards resolving the election dispute that followed the December polls.
