Ghana football is very competitive – Frank Nuttal
Frank Elliot Nuttal, head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak has said, claims that football in Ghana is not competitive was untrue.
He said football is very competitive in Ghana with so many talented young players.
The Scottish told the press after his side has edged out Ghanaian second tier side, Sporting Mirren in the MTN FA cup competition, at a post match press conference.
According to coach Nuttal, history has proven that there are talented footballers in Ghana and Africa as a whole and the whole world know about this fact.
“I think the football in Ghana is very competitive and there is so much talent here, football history has shown over the years that talents have been able to progress to the highest level of the game.
“I’m sure that with talent identification, right development programs and training methods, Ghana will make a lot of progress in Football.” Coach Nuttal said.
The Scottish tactician reiterated that Hearts of Oak’s target for the season is to win every single game in both the FA Cup and the Premier league.
“The target is to win every game, to get through every game and try to win every competition we are involved in.
“It doesn’t mean we are going to win all the games, I won’t promise anything but we would try to win all the competitions.” He added.
