Traders call for decongestion at Nkoranza Central market
Madam Ruth Antwiwaa Damas, Queenmother of Nkoranza Central Market, has appealed for security lights to be installed at the market to deter thieves and miscreants from harassing traders and customers.
She called on Nkoranza South District Assembly to decongest the market by removing all temporary structures on the pavements to facilitate the movement of traders and customers.
Mrs. Damas said this when she addressed a meeting of Nkoranza market traders association at Nkoranza.
She said the association had decided to assist the assembly in its revenue mobilization by appointing some members to serve as collectors.
Madam Damas advised the traders to pay their taxes regularly and promptly to enable the assembly to complete more development projects.
