Bank of Ghana lists 26 banks as licensed

The Bank of Ghana has licensed 26 banks to operate in the country as at June 2009, the list accessed by ghanabusinessnews.com from the website of the central bank also includes the bank.

The list has names of the banks, addresses, website addresses for those who have, email contacts, telephone and fax numbers.

The list is categorized under Central Bank, Universal and Offshore, Universal and other banks.

The Bank of Ghana is listed under Central Bank and 24 other banks are listed under Universal, while Barclays Bank Ghana Limited is listed under Universal and Offshore. The ARB Apex Bank is listed under other banks.
