Ellembelle inaugurates Public Relations and Complaint committee

A-7-Member Committee to steer the Public Relations affairs of the Ellembelle District Assembly for the next 2 years, has been inaugurated at Nkroful in the Western Region.

In his inaugural speech, the District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr. Daniel K. Eshun, thanked the members for accepting the responsibility and charged them to work hard adding, the Assembly would rally behind them to make their work meaningful.

He called on them to factor the youth into their programmes to enable them know the right channels to direct their grievances since their desire to work in the oil and mining sectors in the district could create tension and confusion.

Mr. Eshun noted that land disputes were major strain on the security of the area and promised to seek the advice of the committee where necessary.

He called on the committee to be free and firm and make justice their guiding principle in the discharge of their duties.

The chairman of the committee, Mr. Dominic K. Nyanzu, who is the Presiding Member of the Assembly, noted that their task was a herculean one and promised to work towards the development of the area.
