Ghana stocks recover
The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All-Share Index recovered on Wednesday when it gained 14.27 points to close at 6,296.11 points up from 6,281.84 points during the previous trading.
The Change Year to Date also went up to 12.99.
Traded volume was 303,889 shares valued at GH¢165,347.16. Shares of 14 equities changed hands with State Insurance Company Limited (SIC) leading the pack with 151,200 of its shares valued at GH¢60,394.00 traded.
On the broader market, there were seven price changes, five positives and two negatives. Golden Star Resources (GSR) and Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL) lost GH¢0.10 and GH¢0.01 to close trading at GH¢3.30 and GH¢0.24, respectively.
Fan Milk Limited (FML) led the gainers when it shares went up by GH¢0.04 to close at GH¢7.65 while all the others gained GH¢0.01 each, with Cal Bank Limited (CAL) ending trading at GH¢0.28; Produce Buying Company Limited (PBC) at GH¢0.16; SIC Insurance Company Limited (SIC) at GH¢0.40; and SG-SSB Limited (SG-SSB) at GH¢0.56.
