Paga Air Strip to get facelift
The Paga Air Strip in the Upper East Region is to be rehabilitated to make air transport to the region easier to facilitate business activities.
Mr Mark Woyongo, Regional Minister made this known when he led a team of experts from the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority to the strip to assess proposed works on the facility.
The inspection team recommended among other things the re-gravelling of the air strip, re-alignment and extension of the runway and improvement of air space management for business activities.
It recommended the involvement of stakeholders such as the Volta River Authority and the Ghana National Fire Service to ensure the safety of air business.
