Benso Oil Palm Plantation Basic School scores 100%
Benso Oil Palm Plantation (BOPP) Basic School scored 100 per cent in the 2010 Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE) held in 2010.
Mr Neneyo Mate-Kole, Managing Director of BOPP, who said this at a workers and awards day at Benso on Saturday said all the 56 candidates presented for the examination passed.
He said 42 students had aggregates ranging from six to 12 in the best five subjects.
Neneyo Mate-Kole said the worst aggregate was 15 as against 17 in 2009 and all the students have secured places in reputable Senior High Schools.
He congratulated the teachers for a good job done.
Neneyo Mate-Kole said the Company instituted a best Teacher Award last year and although no teacher qualified for the award based on the agreed criteria, the Management had decided to reward teachers whose students performed well in the 2010 BECE.
