President cuts sod For Volta and Brong Ahafo universities
As the government’s Action Year activities stay on course, President John Evans Atta Mills would on Monday, cut the sod for work to start on the University of Health and Allied Sciences in Ho.
On Tuesday, February 8, he would carry out a similar function in Sunyani for the University of Energy and Natural Resources.
A statement issued by Mr Koku Anyidoho, Head of Communications at the Presidency in Accra said the construction of the two additional public universities in the Volta and Brong Ahafo Regions was in line with President Atta Mills pledge to create jobs and invest heavily in the Ghanaian people.
