IFC to organize 2nd Ghana Leasing Fair and Business Forum

The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group has announced that it will be organizing the second Ghana leasing fair in Accra from March 8 – 9, 2011.

The theme is “Accelerating Business Enterprise Development in Ghana: Advancing the leasing option benefit for Ghana’s new Economic Growth Path.”

The fair, according to the IFC aims at improving leasing opportunities for businesses in Ghana as well as creating awareness about the advantages of using finance leasing for enterprise development.

At a press briefing today February 21, 2011, the IFC said the fair, sponsored by the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs of Switzerland (SECO), will focus on key sectors of the economy such as agriculture, transportation as well as emerging sectors like oil and gas, ICT and construction.
