Security measures in place ahead of Hearts-Kotoko match on Sunday

The Management of Accra Hearts of Oak has in consultation with the Premier League Board (PLB), National Security and the National Sports Council (NSC) announced security measures ahead of their game against Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Ohene Djan Stadium, Accra on Sunday.

A statement signed by Ashford Tettey-Oku, Administrative Manager of Hearts said the 40 approved gates will be opened 10:am for the sporting public.

It said that sellers, checkers, hawkers and other staff of the NSC who will be on duty are to report at 9:30 am since there will not be further admission after 10:00am.

According to the statement, media personnel will only be allowed entry if they come along with the approved tags from the PLB since other forms of tags and cards will be not be accepted.

It also added that all cars would need a specially designed sticker to enter the stadium, whilst all cars packing within the Stadium from the Castle annex gates will pay GH¢2.00 for a sticker with those parking around the stadium paying GH¢1.00.

According to the statement, the VVIP will attract a flat rate of GH¢20.00, while the VIP Upper and Lower will attract GH¢15.00 and GH¢10.00 respectively.

It added that the Center Line will go for GH¢6.00 with the Popular Stand going for GH¢4.00
