Rawlings warns imposters

Former President Jerry John Rawlings has issued a warning to persons who are roaming the country and masquerading as his close confidantes.

He said he has not accorded anyone the responsibility to go round constituencies to make statements in his name or on his behalf.

A statement issued by the Office of the Former President to the GNA said:  “These personalities use either their acquaintance with me or previous association to peddle falsehood and woo party faithful into believing they have the interest of the party at heart”
