Tigo Ghana, the second largest mobile operator in the country will from next week introduce a new set of numbers beginning with the code 057 to its system, the company has said.
According to Tigo, the new block of numbers will be released from Tuesday May 3, 2011. The 057 code will complement the operator’s existing 027 code.
Tigo has about four million subscribers according to the National Communications Authority (NCA) data for December 2010.
