Democracy in NDC is no room for insults – Activist

Mr Theo Djanie Magoah, an activist of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Wednesday said democratic principles in the party was not an avenue for members and supporters to trade in insults against each other.

Mr Magoah who is also the Chairman of Intimate Club, an affiliate of the NDC said: “Since we are practicing democracy in the party, anyone is allowed to contest for the flag bearership, but that does not give anyone the advantage to insult or create problems in the party as we all belong to the umbrella family.”

This was contained in a statement issued in Accra by the club made up of more than 200 members who travelled the length and breadth of the country to organise durbars and rally grounds for the party and maintain peace and order.

Mr Magoah express optimism that there would be absolute peace and unity in the part after the Sunyani Congress to steer ahead for victory in Election 2012.

“All NDC loyalists should forget about the internal problems and come out massively to vote for the party because majority of Ghanaians bear testimony to the good works of the Government through development projects all over the country and the robust economy attracting foreign investors,” he added.
