Vodafone Ghana makes SMEs communication needs simple, affordable
Vodafone Business Solutions has introduced a wireless office facility for small and medium scale enterprises and other organizations to have seamless connection to each other and the World Wide Web (WWW).
The facility, which is a complete communication solution for businesses that do not have access to an ADSL land line internet connection, is also designed for temporary or mobile offices providing data connection, phone and fax calls via Vodafone 3G network.
“SME’s can connect any analogue phone or Fax and about 30 computers on Wi-fi,” Mr Isaac Abraham, Manager Corporate Communications Vodafone told the Ghana News Agency.
The facility was introduced on Thursday to a gathering of over 170 corporate IT experts from Vodafone’s large and small to medium enterprise customers across the country at a forum held in Accra.
Mr Abraham said the upgrade of Vodafone’s technology, has better positioned the company’s business solutions unit to offer business solutions to companies and government agencies more efficiently and effectively.
The forum was also an opportunity for Vodafone to elaborate on their network transformation project, which has been positioned to meet the total business needs of businesses.
The delegates at the forum were also treated to a preview of the video and audio conferencing facility, which allows businessmen and women to have meetings with their colleagues across the country without having to leave the office.
The Director of Vodafone Business Solutions, Mr Derek Appiah said: “Vodafone Business Solutions is dedicated to businesses delivering a range of innovative and integrated solutions tailored to their needs. Telecommunications has rapidly moved from voice to data and now, in the era of convergence of these technologies.
Vodafone Ghana in April this year upgraded its business enterprise unit to become Vodafone Business Solutions, a body dedicated to meeting the communication needs of Corporate, SMEs and Government agencies.
