Ghanaian businessmen, traditional rulers, entrepreneurs to visit China to strengthen relations
A delegation of chiefs from the Volta Region, business people and political leaders is to visit the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Province of China from September 16 to September 22 this year.
The trip is under the aegis of the Volta Regional House of Chiefs with collaboration with the Volta Regional Coordinating Council.
A statement signed by Mr John Kukah, Secretary of the Asogli State Secretariat, copied to GNA, said the visit “is a prelude to the establishment of a Sister State relationship between the Volta Region and Ningxia Hui Province.’’
It said preparations for that relationship was advanced and mentioned trade, agriculture, manufacturing, mining, science and technology, fish and livestock farming, tourism and culture as areas to be explored in the Ningxia Hui-Volta pact.
The statement asked interested chiefs and business persons to contact the Asogli State Secretariat by the close of Thursday, August 11, 2011 by 0207426050 or 0244096109 cell phone numbers for a brief.
