Ghana FA christens Super Cup in honour of Sly Tetteh
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has christened the Super Cup after the late Founder of Liberty Professionals FC, Alhaji Sly Tetteh.
The Super Cup scheduled for the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, October 2 will be played between Nania FC and Berekum Chelsea FC.
Jordan Anagblah, Vice President of the GFA told GNA Sports that the move is the Federation’s token to the memory of the late Sly Tetteh.
“This is a man who did so much for the development of football and naming the Super Cup after him is the least of what the FA can do to honour his memory.”
The Super Cup will pit League champions, Berekum Chelsea against FA Cup winners, FC Nania.
The winner will take home a giant trophy.
