ECOWAS Commission unveils new Presidential Lounge

The President of the ECOWAS Commission, His Excellency James Victor Gbeho on October 20, 2011 unveiled a Presidential Lounge, which will serve as a meeting room for Heads of State within the Commission’s Headquarters Complex in Abuja.

ECOWAS says the new structure complete with facilities for conference and bilateral talks by regional leaders, was built during the renovation of its headquarters building.

“As a complement to the Commission’s much larger Conference Hall, the Presidential Lounge will be very handy for mini- and extra-ordinary summits of ECOWAS Heads of State and Government,” said ECOWAS in a statement October 21, 2011.
