Bolgatanga MCE commissions three school projects worth GH¢225,000
Mr Edward Ayagle, Bolgatanga Municipal Chief Executive, has commissioned three school projects valued at GH¢225,000 at Nimolgo, Zuarungu and Dachio communities in the Bolgatanga Municipality.
Mr Ayagle said government placed education and health very high under the Better Ghana Agenda and would do anything to ensure that those sectors were given priority.
He said this was evident in the removal of schools under trees and the construction of classrooms to enhance education.
He regretted that some contractors had the habit of doing shoddy work and said such people would be brought to book and commended hard working contractors in the region who exhibited quality work.
Mr Ayagle appealed to the beneficiary communities to take care of the school buildings to make them stand the test of time.
The three schools all have toilets and urinals and have been connected to the Rural Electrification Programme earmarked for 45 communities in the Municipality.
