Gyan flies back to club-side Al Ain in private jet – GFA

The Ghana Football Association says striker Asamoah Gyan has been granted permission to return to his UAE club-side Al Ain for an “urgent assignment”.

Asamoah Gyan was not part of the national team that returned home to Accra February 12, 2012 from the 2012 African Cup of Nations.

“Gyan’s club, Al Ain sent a private jet to Malabo on Sunday morning to fly him back,” said the FA in a statement.
