Italian firm Errecom enters Ghana to reach Africa

Acecom, Africa’s sole distributor of Errecom products in collaboration with a Ghanaian partner, has launched a range of product innovations in Ghana targeting mainly owners and users of automobile.

The company in collaboration with SFCE Ghana Limited, a general merchant, aims to use Ghana as a springboard to market Errecom products in the West African sub-region and beyond.

“Errecom, a leading Italian company into air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions, has chosen Ghana as its safest destination to reach the rest of Africa because of the conducive business environment and political stability in the country,” Seth Agboryi-Kofie, President of SFCE company told journalists on Tuesday at the launch.

He said the company through its distributor in Africa, Acecom, aims to set up a manufacturing plant in Ghana to serve the rest of Africa in future.

Dr Tony Iwobi and Dr Jide Ogodan, Chairman and Deputy Chairman of Acecom, who were at the launch, said Errecom is one of six companies producing the products globally and aims to capture the African market.

They said with Ghana blazing the trail of Africa now, the African continent is now no longer regarded as a dumping ground for cheap and substandard products from the developed world.

Mr Bright J.Y. Sogbey, an energy consultant, who launched the five products – Go-Tyre, Stop-Up, Extreme, Brilliant and Bright Pen, described them as cost-effective products which are environmentally safe and appropriate for use in Ghana.

Go-Tyre, which is the newest innovation yet to be launched globally, helps to temporary repair punctures in vehicles, motorcycles, and cycles tyres. It is composed by an innovative sealant fluid that immediately fixes small punctures. It is effective on any tyre, tube, or tubeless, works in all weather circumstances.

The Extreme is essentially for solving problems related to small leakages of refrigerant gas frequently occurred from metal and rubber parts of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

Brilliant is for detecting even the smallest leaks in several parts of the vehicles and air conditioners. It helps solve gas leakages.

The Stop-Up product is a revolutionary product specifically formulated to stop any fluid system leak. It quickly revitalizes hard shrunken, leaking seals to their original condition. It forms permanent seal fixing leaks in different kinds of engines, power steering systems, manual and automatic gears and automatic transmissions.

The Bright Pen is a leak detector lamp which comes in as goggle and a touch.

Congratulations to Ghana and Acecom. Errecom are a great company with some extraordinary products for air-conditioning. I have seen their Cool Shot product make Air-Conditioning systems perform 20-30% colder, faster and quieter!
I wish you all well, people in Africa will benefit greatly from Errecom, helping to preserve their environment with more efficient air-conditioning systems, saving energy and fuel and at the same time generating jobs and income.
