Ghana’s Sarkodie gets 2012 BET award nomination for best African act
Reigning Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year, Sarkodie has been nominated for this year’s BET Awards 2012 for Best International Act in Africa.
The rapper is in the same category with Nigerian musicians Ice Prince, Wizkid, Kenyan hip hop group Camp Mulla, Lira from South Africa and Mali’s Mokobe.
The BET nominations were announced in New York May 22, 2012. The awards will be held July 1, 2012 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and actor Samuel L. Jackson will be the host.
D-Black was nominated for the 2011 edition of the award.

Sarkordie is good no dought…… But that not withstanding, the other artist nominted are equaly good. Ghana lets all be devoted to vote and support him…. Saying he is the best and not voting wouldnt get us anywhere

Obidi has some unique qualities i have learn to appreciate: He is FAST in Rap, has vocabs/Lyrics, De longest rymes in Ghanaian music, inspirational, healing voice, Talented and iz de most played and loved.
Wizkid man.I hope you win this award.Sarkodie cant win with the Twi rap.If he really want to win any major thing he should start rapping in English.
