Bread sellers want vocational training
The Adoagyiri-Nsawam Bread Sellers Association has appealed to the government and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to assist the members with vocational training.
Mr Emmanuel Aduful, Chairman of the Association, told the GNA in an interview that among them are Senior High and Junior High Schools graduates but due to poverty they could not continue their education and had go into bread selling.
He said it was dangerous seeing these young boys and girls, who are supposed to be in school, chasing vehicles to sell bread and in the process some of them got knocked down by vehicles.
Mr Aduful said there would be a time when these young people would not be able to run after vehicles selling bread and they would become a liability on the society, adding that the Association has more than 200 members who are ready to be engaged in skills training.
